The pond and alley
In memory of the wild, neglected swamps of Brijuni before Koch’s malaria interventions, Kupelwieser and Alojz Čufar left one pond unchanged. Upon the water swim ducks and birds, and vegetation is magic. The pond is a little behind the Excelsior Hotel, next to the most famous alley of Brijuni.
Brijuni archipelago is a magical place where nature’s splendor and man’s ingenuity blend perfectly.
