The 2010 Veterans World Fencing Championships is organized by the Croatian Fencing Federation with the support of the Plava Laguna Company and the Town of Poreč, under the auspices and authority of the Fédération Internationale d’Escrime (FIE).
The Championships is held in the Intersport Centre of the PLAVA LAGUNA in Poreč/Croatia from 28 September to 3 October 2010. The Porec World Veteran Fencing Championships is held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović.

Race Ol Istria MTB Tour - Parenzana Cannondale 2010 which for the 14th time in a row with its specific formula (tourism + professional race) attracts numerous home and foreign cyclists, coming from all over Europe.

Classified with medium difficulty, the race is included in the calendar of the World Bicycle Federation (UCI) in the category 1, and considering the fact that there will be assigned world points, it is attended an exciting race and an intense competition. The race is going to take place on September 2010 the 24th, 25th and 26th. The trail will pass through the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line which deeply penetrates into the Istrian peninsula and from Poreč to Trieste connects 33 Istrian cities, which today are located on the territory of even three states. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, once it was named as the railway of the wine.

European hill climb Championship "29 Buzetski dani" will be held this year at the legendary track Most-Peničići from 18th to 19th September, organized by AMC Buzet and under patronage of President of Croatia, Mr. Ivo Josipovic.

Those who successfully completed the entire marathon know how enjoyable it was. Those who have at least attempted, surely did not regret it. This recreational swimming marathon is the major event of the Swimming festival at sea, held each year on the first weekend in September at the beach in Poreč. The start of the marathon is at the hotel Pical beach, and you can join the swimmers at any time between 9 am and 3 pm and choose one of the three marathon laps. There are guarded lockers at the beach, the swimming area is marked and under surveillance for the swimmers' safety, and the participants will be returned from the finish to the start position by boat. If you can't complete the entire marathon, a boat will come to pick you up, but don't give up so fast - everything is allowed: masks, fins, inflatable beach mattresses, water wings... You can set off alone, with your friends, family, swim slow or fast, use any possible known or unknown style. The marathon ends at 5pm with the presentation of awards.
