Festival of sound and art flavours
On the streets and squares of our town this event will give our guests and citizens the possibility to enjoy music and gastronomic offer of our sourroundings during four days. The first part of the show will be in three different locations in town and it will include music workshops, foto exhibitions and projections; the second part will be held on the main town square where prominent musicians will perform during the whole evening; the after party will continue along the bay of Umag.

ETHNO CROATIA 2011th in Grožnjan offers already-established and distinctive ethnic practices of mutual learning and teaching of young musicians from various countries around the world. All the musicians between 18-30 years of age who are interested in ethnic / folk / world music, and play some acoustic instruments or sing are welcome to the International Ethno camp in Grožnjan during which he will have the opportunity to mingle with young musicians from India, Sweden, Zambia , Jordan, Macedonia, Denmark, France, Belgium, Wales, and Croatian and learn from them about the music of countries from which these participants come from. ETHNO CROATIA 2011. lasts from 12th to 19th of July in Grožnjan, ISTRIA, followed by a small tour called Ethno On The Road.

The whole evening feast with traditional local dishes and products with folk dancing, pop music band from Istria and show of dance studios and Il Movimento Zumba. Recipes of our grandmothers will offer a taste of Istrian prosciutto, sausages, ombolo, truffle products, local wines and brandies, and the best olive oils from Labin.

Association for the old and young Dajla-Novigrad, which is responsible for the organization of this event, on summer carnival participate several masked groups from Istria and Primorje.

Pula Film Festival, founded in 1954, is the oldest and the most popular Croatian film festival . The National Programme of the 58th Pula Film Festival will be held from 16th to 23rd July 2011, consisting of Croatian feature films and minority cooproductions. The 58th Pula Film Festival International Programme will screen a number of films selected from major international film festivals, as well as some of the most successful films from the region drom 9th to 23rd July 2011.

Do not miss the evening concert performance of the Pula's most popular cover band on the most beautiful summer terrace in town!
