In the period from March 20th to 22nd 2009 in Istra, Memorial House - Pazin will be held the sci-fi convention Istracon, the tenth time in a row. The main goal of Istracon as a manifestation is the promotion of science-fiction and fantasy in the region (and country), all as part of a weekend gathering of SF&F fans and other people of good will. See you in Istra (Istria), at Pazin's MH for ISTRACON 2009.

In the first part of the concert performing horn players with piano accompaniment, and in the second part, the young players play Istrian traditional instruments with the presentation of instruments builders.

This year on the occasion of International Day of Water, Trickers are organizing the race Pazinčica Clearwater Revival.
The race is on Sunday, 15.03.2009. with start at 13:00.
Gathering: by the Memorial Hall, starting at the bridge Vršic (which is also the finish of the race) over the Pazin Cave near Kastel. At the end of the race will be lunch for the participants.

German shepards' Breeders Istra ( Istria ) Club , Pazin organizes the 6th Special exhibition of German shepards ( Memorial Dusan Bencic) on the Green terrace near the Hotel Hunter, over the cliffs of Pazin Cave. Assessment of dogs will make European experts, judge HANS LUDGER GOKE.
