Beekeepers association "Lipa" from Pazin under the auspices of Istrian County and City of Pazin organizes 4th International exhibition of beekeepers' equipment, honey products and professional scientific meeting "4th DAYS OF HONEY, PAZIN 2009."

Exhibition takes place in Pazin, Istra (Istria) in the Memorial house -. (Friday and Saturday) February 27th and 28th 2009.

Croatian broadcaster HRT has launched its national selection process DORA 2009, culminating in two spectacular shows to be held in Opatija.

The traditional local games "bacanje roga" (throwing of the horn) is an integral part of Lent that is Lent festivities. On “Ash Wednesday”, the day after Shrove Tuesday, men compete in throwing of wooden bats or “bačuka” as close as possible to the ox horns. It is thrown in a number of stages and "Bacanje roga" the game takes place from the top to the bottom of the Motovun hill in the heart of Istra ( Istria).
