Pula Golf Club is organizing a traditional Brijuni spring open tournament on the legendary Brijuni golf course. Last year,participated around 50 golf players from Istria, Zagreb, Karlovac, Rijeka, Slovenia and the USA.

Rock, Hard rock and heavy metal music plays DJ.KING PIN who lives in London and brings standard hits and some very interesting new bands that we "in the province" have not yet heard. To complete the evening - resident dj.PIONIR who will run domestic rock hits of Azra, Majke ( Mothers), Hladno pivo ( Cold Beer ), KUD Idijoti (CAC Idiots) and others.

Omega Lithium, band from Umag - Istra ( Istria ) is one of the biggest surprises of Croatian new wave metal scene, is currently working on the first album. Before exiting the album, it will be presented on the independent performance of a club Uljanik, Pula - Istra ( Istria )

In the period from March 20th to 22nd 2009 in Istra, Memorial House - Pazin will be held the sci-fi convention Istracon, the tenth time in a row. The main goal of Istracon as a manifestation is the promotion of science-fiction and fantasy in the region (and country), all as part of a weekend gathering of SF&F fans and other people of good will.
