11th mediterranean folklore meeting
Mediterranean Folklore Encounters “Zlatna sopela” are an international folklore festival that takes place annually in the beginning of July. Zlatna sopela is under patronage of Croatian UNESCO committee. At festival will take part around 30 groups from Adriatic-Ionian area, The wider Mediterranean area and rest of the world.

As part of celebration of Midsummer Day and Day of Svetvinčenat it will be held 12th pageant for "Best goat", tournament "Pljočkanja" (an old Istrian game with pebbles). In the evening you can have fun at the concert of Jelena Rozga with the accompanying band, and opening act of LAGUNA BAND.

At the city stadium in Pazin, on Friday, the 24th June in 20:00, the celebrated singer from Bosnia and folk music legend - Halid Beslic, again sings in Istria. Guests od the Mega Concert: Koktelsi.

International mountain race car Učka 2011, will be held 24th to 25th June 2011. Start is in Veprinac. Ticket: 20 kn

Casanovafest, the love and erotic festival is being held on the 23st - 25th of June 2011 in Vrsar, one of the sources of inspiration for this unique manifestation, which even for Casanova, during his two visits in 1743. and 1744. remained in his memory as a place of fine drink, good food and beautiful women.
Casanovafest was invented by Slobodan Vugrinec and Boris T. Matić as a manifestation which celebrates historical connections between the famous lover Casanova and Vrsar.
