Twelve years ago Aleksandra Rotar initiated and organized the first meeting of artists in Medulin called "International Art Colony 1997". Thanks to her persistence and passionate commitment this event has survived until today and in the meantime has grown into an International art symposium. At the end of the art colony artists present their works to the public.

For the end of the season the Windsurfing Club organizes an open regatta, focusing on the extremely attractive discipline slalom, the most popular one in this sport. WINDSURFING CLUB POMER @ Pomer, Camp Pomer

Take part at the anniversary bicycle race Istria MTB Tartufi Tour - Parenzana Cannondale 2009 which for the 14th time in a row with its specific formula (tourism + professional race) attracts numerous home and foreign cyclists, coming from all over Europe.
The trail will pass through the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line which deeply penetrates into the Istrian peninsula and from Poreč to Trieste connects 33 Istrian cities, which today are located on the territory of even three states. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, once it was named as the railway of the wine.

The International Meteor Conference (IMC) is the highlight of the meteoric year, as amateur, but also professional, meteor astronomers have the opportunity to meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere, exchange observational results and new insights into meteor astronomy, and strengthen friendships built up over many years.

For the first time in its history, the IMC takes place in Croatia, notably in the historic city and Adriatic seaside resort of Poreč, located on the Istrian Peninsula.
