A must among summer festivals - Zlatna sopela - is a traditional meeting of folklore groups coming from the Mediterranean area, but also other parts of Europe and the world.
Theme (Topic) of the 9th Zlatna sopela is Traditional Mediterranean culture and journeys of Marco Polo.
The Poreč square 'Trg slobode' becomes the central venue for the event. The ambiance and crowds completely blend with the performances of folklore groups.

This Congress will be organized under the auspices of the Croatian Table Tennis Association, European Table Tennis Union, Faculty of Kinesiology – Zagreb and Faculty of Sport - Ljubljana. The Congress will provide up-to-date information on current applications of sports science to the table tennis. Exhibitions and workshops will provide to participants an opportunity to see the practical application of ideas whenever possible.

From 5th to 07th June Porec is host to IV. INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF Majorettes, organized by the Alliance of majorettes and pom pon - teams of Croatia. At the festival participate about 40 teams with around 1500 participants from ten countries.
