Concert Natasa Milic, piano, theater hall POU Poreč
Nataša Milić was born in Zagreb. In age of 5 her grandmother gave her first piano lessons. Having completed the elementary and secondary school, she graduated and got her MA degree in piano from the Zagreb Academy of Music under Marija Gvozdić-Horvat. She was given the "Darko Lukić" Award for the best performance of a piece by Croatian composer (Zagreb, 1988.)

The International Meteor Conference (IMC) is the highlight of the meteoric year, as amateur, but also professional, meteor astronomers have the opportunity to meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere, exchange observational results and new insights into meteor astronomy, and strengthen friendships built up over many years.

For the first time in its history, the IMC takes place in Croatia, notably in the historic city and Adriatic seaside resort of Poreč, located on the Istrian Peninsula.

The Davis Cup semifinals by BNP Paribas, Croatia – Czech Republic, are being held in Poreč, the hosting town and a co-organizer of the tennis spectacle, from 18th until 20th September 2009.
The town of Poreč is hosting the Davis Cup World Group by BNP Paribas and justifies the definition of the most sportsman-like town, of the world's very important tourist as well as sports destination.

Based on the archival material of the museum of Porec and the State Archives in Pazin, Istria, aware and proud of the rich cultural and historical heritage of Porec, festival organizers decided Historical Giostra 2009 to 1672.

Recreational swimming marathon is the central event of Swimming Festival at Sea, which is held every year on the first weekend in September at the City of Porec. Marathon starts at 'blue' city beach, and you can join at any time between 9 and 15 hours and choose one of three marathon lenghts.
