Pianist Tamara Jurkić Sviben graduated (1995) from the Zagreb Academy of Music under Jurica Muraj and attended master courses with M. Voskresensky, L. Naumov, M. Mercier, M. Saboy and V. Krpan. Since 1992 she has performed in all major cities in Croatia as well as in Amsterdam, Budapest, Lisbon, Vienna and in India. Pieces by Croatian composers (B. Kunc, B. Papandopulo, B. Bjelinski, Ž. Hirschler) are important part of her repertoire. She is actively engaged as pedagogue teaching the piano at the Zlatko Baloković Music School in Zagreb.

Celebration of 40th Anniversary of Croatian Music Youth's International Cultural Center in Grožnjan, Istra ( Istria )
This Congress will be organized under the auspices of the Croatian Table Tennis Association, European Table Tennis Union, Faculty of Kinesiology – Zagreb and Faculty of Sport - Ljubljana. The Congress will provide up-to-date information on current applications of sports science to the table tennis. Exhibitions and workshops will provide to participants an opportunity to see the practical application of ideas whenever possible.
Paz Friday, 12.6.2009. - 14.6.2009. Serial of workshops starts in June in Furuli in Istria. The first theme is biodynamic agriculture, a method of organic agriculture based on the phylosophy of dr. Rudolf Steiner. The second one is a practical workshop on building a clay bread and pizza oven. The biodynamic workshop is led by Bernarda Orehovec, a long-term experienced agriculture lady who cares the prestige certificate "Demeter". The clayoven workshop is led by Erwin Zachl from Austria, which has a permaculture diploma and is an experienced builder with organic materials.
