For those who love long walks - on the Sunday before Christmas, an unforgettable event will be organized, for body and soul, the third marathon across the picturesque town of Buje and its suburbs – Istria in your heart. The start is in Savudrija, the town with the oldest lighthouse on the Adriatic, which this year is celebrating its 190th birthday. Surrounded by 53.8 kilometres of beautiful Istrian landscape, panoramas of salt pans, the Parenzana railway, medieval towns on the hilltops, a magical space between sea and sky – Grožnjan. Every little town along this complete sporting adventure trail will welcome you and will tell you its own tale. If you decide to participate in the full marathon or just a part of it, on the last station of this journey, framed by nature’s green and with the sea’s blue, you will be welcomed by the town of Novigrad. This sporting adventure will easily become unforgettable along with the night life and entertainment.
