race Ol Istria MTB Tour - Parenzana Cannondale 2010 which for the 14th time in a row with its specific formula (tourism + professional race) attracts numerous home and foreign cyclists, coming from all over Europe.
Classified with medium difficulty, the race is included in the calendar of the World Bicycle Federation (UCI) in the category 1, and considering the fact that there will be assigned world points, it is attended an exciting race and an intense competition. The race is going to take place on September 2010 the 24th, 25th and 26th. The trail will pass through the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line which deeply penetrates into the Istrian peninsula and from Poreč to Trieste connects 33 Istrian cities, which today are located on the territory of even three states. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, once it was named as the railway of the wine.
